Amy’s true strength as a designer lies in her ability to coach others to their best outcomes. On multiple occasions, I've seen her work with subject matter experts, designers, video production experts, and teachers who were frustrated overwhelmed, or out of ideas. In every instance, the individual left the conversation with a positive outlook and a plan to move forward. This is true leadership and in my opinion, a valuable skill for an Instructional Designer.
I have known Amy DeLorm to have strong character, a great sense of ambition, and to be a phenomenal problem solver. In addition, Amy is an excellent facilitator who keeps her audience engaged during virtual training. Amy’s training materials are always on point for professionalism and branding. She continually strives to take her training to the next level.
Amy is creative and excellent at problem-solving. She can think outside of the box. She
is able to view content and then brainstorm new and exciting ways to present that
information to the audience. Amy uses a variety of activities to help keep her audience
engaged and support retention of the material
Amy and I have served on a leadership training team. As a lead on that team, I found Amy to provide problem-solving skills through her ability to see the solution at the end of every obstacle. For example, my project hit a major stumbling block and although I had much collaboration with another teammate, we could not get it moving. Enter Amy. She was able to sift through all the complexity to find just the right way to chunk the needed tasks. We were able to solve in 3 days what was delayed 3 months because of Amy’s knowledge and collaboration.

Amy is fierce- she is passionate about all she does, especially math, video production, and online teaching. Since she was an instructional coach, she can also have fierce conversations, meaning she can provide constructive feedback or help develop ideas you’ve been brewing. Amy is also efficient, which being into video production, makes sense! She can quickly provide resources and pays attention to detail in doing so. She would make an amazing addition to any team.
Amy is confident, organized, and extremely supportive in her role as instructional coach. Her attention to detail is unparalleled, and she is always positive when providing constructive criticism. There is no doubt that I became a better online instructor due to the support and strong collaborative environment which Amy provided. 
Amy DeLorm was my instructional coach for two years when I taught online. She was forthright, caring, amicable, and still managed to be professional, all at the same time. My teaching efforts improved under her guidance and tutelage. Amy took techniques I was already using and showed me how to enhance them to be more effective. Then she gave me ideas to implement that hadn’t even occurred to me, helping me tweak them to fit my teaching style. As she encouraged me to step out of my comfort zone, think outside the box, and work to reach all learning styles, I grew and became a better educator. I highly recommend hiring Amy to train any staff.
I had the distinct pleasure to work with Amy on Stride's (formerly K12 Inc.) Central Region Instructional Coach team. Amy and I were on a team to observe, support, and train teachers in various data driven ways. Amy's work ethic and desire to serve others is unparalleled. She works tirelessly to create innovative solutions to complex problems while maintaining a positive and energetic mindset. Amy is extremely detailed oriented and always completes projects on time, if not ahead of schedule. Whenever Amy presented trainings, she brought a joyful and dynamic attitude that engaged audiences immediately. Amy listens with an open ear and heart and truly embodies what it means to have a growth mindset. I sincerely enjoyed my time working with her.
